the dimensions of a large Coke bottle is 3 times larger than the small Coke bottle, if the volume of the large Coke bottle is 88 oz, what is the volume of the small one

if it's the linear dimensions that increase by a factor of three then the volume will increase by a factor of 3 cubed = 27.  That is, the volume will be 27 times greater.
