THE Griffin rollercoaster at Busch Gardens,Williamsburg is a heart pounding experience. It reaches a height of 205 ft to it's lowest at 20 ft. Through out the ride it reaches a speed of 75mph. What does the domain and range represent in context of this situation?

Well I think the speed would be the dependant variable.

That is it would depend on the height of the roller coaster.

So I would put height on the horizontal axis and speed on the vertical axis.

so the domain would be height    [20,205]   in feet

and the range would be speed     [0,75]      in miles/hour
