I think the question may not have been copied and pasted fully.

Also, try looking at past questions to try to answer this one. :))

I think there's a way to edit, but if you can't figure it out, just respond to your question.

I messed it up sorry!! the real question  is:

The midpoint of a line segment is located at (1 -2). If one of the endpoints is (4, 5) , what is the other endpoint? Express your answer as an ordered pair.

Let's think about this one. The mid point is the average of the 2 end poitns.

X coordinate

The end point is 4 and the middle point is 1.

The average of the x coordinate and 4 is 1.

(x+4)/2 = 1

Can you solve for x?

I solved for x so what would that make the ordered pair...?

After solving for x, you also have to solve for y.

Use the same method as x. :)))

so the endpoint is 5 and the middle point is -2 , i dont know how to find the average between the y coordinate and 5 though. would it still be 1 like with the other one?

To solve for it.

(y+5)/2 = -2.

The average of the y coordinate and 5 is equal to -2.
