The point (-35, y) in the third quadrant corresponds to angle θ on the unit circle. whats the value of sec and cot?

It is easier if you do a little sketch of the triangle.

I'm guessing that the "-35" should be -0.35......  "-35" couldn't be the x value on a unit circle.....!!!

If so ,we have that y = √[1 - .35^2]  = about .937

And this is negative since we're in the 3rd quadrant

So, sec Θ = -1/.35

And cot  Θ = .35 / .937
