How can I figure out the average amount of calculations the human brain makes in a day? I just did the simple math for how many calculations the brain can make in a year if its consistently 1,000,000,000,000,000 calculations for second to 31,536,000,000,000,000,000,000 calculations in a year, but I'd like to know the real number, because we obviously don't make as many calculations while asleep, but I'd like to know a daily average of calculations, thank you :)

You've some pretty big numbers there.......

"...consistently 1,000,000,000,000,000 calculations for second..."    needs clarification.....is that the DAILY AVERAGE PER SECOND ...or the height of brain activity in any given day?    If it is the former, then just divide your yearly calculation by 365 to get the daily average !   G'Luck !!   Think On !   LOL
