\(ax^2+bx+c = x^2 +5x + c\)      so what do you know so far.

\(x = {-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} \over 2a} = {-5 \pm \sqrt{2c+3} \over 2}\)

Do some substitutions and finish it.
