The sides of triangle CAB are in the ratio of 2:3:4. Segment AD is the angle bisector drawn to the shortest side, dividing it into segments BD and DC. What is the length, in inches, of the longer subsegment of side BC if the length of side BC is 10 inches? Express your answer as a common fraction.

1/  Use the law of cosines to calculate all 3 angles.

2/  If AB=15,  BC=10, and AC=20 then DC is what you're looking for.

3/  By using the law of sines, calculate the length of DC.
