Thanks, Badinage for the correcttion.....of course you are right..... I forgot that we wanted 2n , not just n.

So....44.....is the first integer.....

My bad....!!!

Let's think about this, AWESOMEEE

Let the first integer be 2n  ....the second, 2n + 2....the third, 2n + 4 , etc.

So we have

2n + (2n+2) + (2n + 4) + (2n + 6) + (2n + 8) + (2n + 10)  = 294  ....  combine like terms....

12n + 30  = 294    subtract 30 from both sides

12n = 264    divide both sides by 12

n =  22

That's the first  even integer.....just for practice.....can you get the rest ???

Edit....Badinage pointed out that the first even integer is 2n, not just n......so the correct answer is 44 for the first term...!!!

No!

The first integer is not 22.

CPhill said let the first of the sequence be 2n.
