The sum of three consecutive numbers is 84. What is the largest of these numbers?

Here's an easy way to solve this kind of problem....

Divide 84 by 3  = 28

So.....28 + 28 + 28  = 84

Subtract 1 from the the first 28 and add 1 to the last.......so....

27  + 28 + 29= 84      .....just as you found.....!!!!
