The top surface area of a cube is 240, the front end surface 300 and 180 square inches. Given this information, you can length, width and height specify the cube?

For the top surface area, we have

W x L = 240   → L = 240/W   (1)

For the front surface area, we have

W x H = 300  → H = 300/W   (2)

And for the side area we have

H x L = 180  (3)

And using (1) and (2) in (3), we have

300/W x 240/W = 180     divide through by 60

5/W x  4/W  = 3

20/W^2 = 3  rearrange

W^2 = 20/3    → W = √(20/3) 

And using (1), L= 240/W  = 240/√(20/3)

And using (2), H = 300/√(20/3)
