Let x be the price of pears per Kg.....then we have

2.55 kg  of apples x  1.55 (cost  per kg)  = about 3.95

So, the pears must be the remainder of the cost = 6.72 - 3.95 = 2.77

So, the total cost of pears / quantity = cost per Kg = 2.77 / 1.4 =  about 1..98 £ per kilo
