The volume of a cone is 6pi cubic inches. What is the volume of the cylinder having the same base and height?

Volume of cone = (1/3)pi*r2*h

 

Volume of cylinder of same radius and height = pi*r2*h

 

So cylinder has three times the volume of the cone.

I really don't know. You would need to use the cylinder volume formula and cone volume formula.
