These are sequences made from different terms. I'm making sure that I'm correct or not... Solve!
We're just sticking each number into the function and evaluating, GM....for example
f(3) = 2(3) - 7 = 6 - 7 = -1
And
g(3) = 5^3 = 125
Pretty easy, huh ????
Got it. Thanks, CPhill!
Answer:
a. -1, -3, -5, -7, -9
f(3) = 2(3) - 7 = 6 - 7 = -1
f(2) = 2(2) - 7 = 4 - 7 = -3
f(1) = 2(1) - 7 = 2 - 7 = -5
f(0) = 2(0) - 7 = 0 - 7 = -7
f(-1) = 2(-1) - 7 = -2 - 7 = -9
b. 125, 25, 5, 1, 0.2
g(3) = 53 = 125
g(2) = 52 = 25
g(1) = 51 = 5
g(0) = 50 = 1
g(-1) = 5-1 = 0.2
