The Workers company manufactures hammers. The production facility has fixed costs of 400 dollars a day and the cost of making one hammer is \$4.75. Which of the following equations represents the daily production cost based on the number of hammers manufactured each day?

(C(x) represents the daily production cost, which is a linear function of x, the number of hammers manufactured)

a) C(x) = 4.75x - 400

b) C(x) = 400x + 4.75

c) C(x) = 4.75x + 4.75(400)

Not 100% sure what "fixed costs" is, but im guessing thats how much money the company gets to use each day. This would mean that they have to pay 4.75 to make one hammer, so you would need 4.75x. Next, since they are given 400 to use, it would come up to C(x) = 4.75x + 400
