Here are your possible rolls

3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18

 

8 are even out of 16     8/16 = 50%

 

 

 

Hmmm.... I got the correct answer.....but I am not sure I did it correctly...I'd go with Melody's answer!

Could be

2 odd and 1 even   or    3 even

 

\(3C2*0.5^3+3C3*0.5^3 = 3*0.5^3+0.5^3=4*0.5^3\)

 

4*0.5^3 = 0.5

 

Lets think about this answer..

 

Can't be

2 even and 1 odd   or  3 odd

 

So 50% makes perfect sense :))
