How to find 2 other angles of a triangle when the problem only gives you 1 angle measurement

This can only be done if we have a right triangle or an isosceles triangle.

 

If its a right triangle and we know one acute angle, the other acute angle will be complimentary to this one.

 

If it's an isosceles triangle, and we're given one ot the isosceles angles, the remaining angle =  180 - 2 times the measure of the isosceles angle. If we're given the measure of the non-isosceles angle, each isosceles angle = [180 - the measure of the non-isoceles angle] / 2

You are correct, Guest....I simply forgot that one!!!

 

An equilateral triangle would have a 60 degree measure for each angle  !!!!!
