Since  AB = 6  and  BC = 10,  AC  = 8    (Pythagorean Theorem)

cos(A)  =  8 / 10.

Im really bad at trig

don trust me but

We have Pythagorean theorem, 36+x=100, x=64, AC=8.

Now, cos A would then be i THINK AC/BC, which is 8/10. Or, exactly 0.800000000.
