arcsin( pi)  is undefined because pi is not within the bounds of -1 to +1

-----------------------

I suspect you really want to know what is    sin(pi )       radians

because pi is usually an angle.

Draw a circle

centre at the origin(0,0) and radius of 1 unit.

That is called a unit circle.

The angle goes from 0 to 2pi radians starting on the positve x axis and going anticlockwise.

So pi relates to -1 on the  x axis.

sin of an angle is always given by the y value on the unit circle.

What is the y value if the point is on the x axis?
