Your question did not get deleted, you just did not post it properly.

BUT

your questions should be deleted.

You are just getting CPhill to do all your homework for you.

No I really am not! It is my homework but I have a bunch of other questions (that I didn’t post on here) that are based on the logic of these and I cannot get it. Sorry if you feel that I am just posting all my homework!

If you are trying to learn at all then you are not going about it correctly.

Maybe you are trying to learn from the answers but you are not trying to learn how to do the actual figuring out for yourself.

If you were seriously trying to learn by example you would post one question at a time.

You would also explain what you had attempted already for yourself.

And then you would attempt to learn from the answer, and you'd attempt more questions on your own before you ask any of your next 99 question.

You would also not be hiding behind guest status.

You have asked a lot more than just these 3 questions in the last few hours.

a. sin^2 x * cos ^3 x  =

sin^2x cos^2 x * cos x

sin^2x ( 1 - sin^2x) * cos x

(sin^2x  - sin^4x) * cos x  =     the right hand side

Oh part b should say 1/2sin (4x) instead of just sin (4x)

Hi, I’m so sorry but how would sin(4x) being halved affect the procedures done? Because I was told that sin(4x) was actually supposed to be corrected to (1/2)(sin(4x))

Ah...i made a slight mistake....

(1/2)sin (4x)  =

(1/2)  sin (2 * 2x)  =

(1/2) (2 sin 2x  cos 2x)  =

(sin 2x) (cos 2x)  =

(2sinx cos x) * ( 1 - 2 sin^2 x)  =

2sin xcosx  - 4sin^3x cos x   =  the right hand side
