How do you do trig problems when only given one side length of the triangle and one angle degree?

We can  only do this when we have a right triangle and the given side is a leg and the given angle is not the right angle. The remaining angle = 90 - the given angle.

Then, we can use the Law of Sines to find the other leg since we know two angles and one side.

Once we find the other leg, we can use the Pythagorean Theorem the find the hypotenuse = sqrt(leg1^2 + leg2^2)
