This is the equation: tan2x - tan2x * tan^2 x = 2
I used the double-angle identity for both tan2x’s, but I don’t know what to do from there. I think maybe factor, but I don’t know how I’d go about doing that. Help?

This isn't an identity....it's only true for certain values of x
