(cos2 x)/(1 - sin x) = (1 + csc x)/(csc x)

(cos^2 x)/(1 - sin x) = (1 + csc x)/(csc x)

 

Note, Shades.....cos^x  =    1 - sin^2x   which we can factor as (1 + sinx) (1 - sinx)...so we have

 

[ (1 + sinx) (1 - sinx)] / (1 - sinx)  =

 

1 + sin x

 

And notice that the right side  can be written as

 

1/cscx + cscx/cscx   =

 

sinx +   1  =

 

1 + sinx

 

So....both sides are now equal
