If the ramp forms an angle of 32 degrees with the ground,how high above the ground,around to the nearest tenth,what is the top of the ramp?
You'll have to give more information......either the horizontal distance the ramp covers or the actual length of the ramp to get a numerical answer to this.....
OK...it is a right triangle with a hypotenuse of 30 feet the angle = 32 degrees sin (32) = OPPOSITE/HYPOTENUSE ((Remember 'SOHCAHTOA' ?)
So sin(32) = .5299 (by calculator) = opposite/hypotenuse
.5299 = opposite/30
.5299 (30) = opposite = 15.897 feet in elevation
