I'm using x instead of  theta

sin^2 x  = 6sin x + 7

sin^2x  - 6 sin x - 7   = 0      factor

(sin x  - 7) (sin x + 1)  = 0

set  each factor to 0  and  solve  for x

sin x  - 7  = 0                   sin x + 1   = 0

sin x  = 7                          sin x = -1

impossible                         x =    θ =  -3pi/2  + 2pi*n    where n is an integer
