A 28 foot ladder is leaning against a wall. The top of the ladder is 25 feet above the ground. What is the angle (to the neatest degree) that the ladder makes with the ground?

This makes a right triangle with the 28 ft ladder being the hypotenuse    so

sin(angle) = 25/28

angle = asin(25/28) = 63. degrees
