how many fewer daylight hours February 10 will have than March 21. using this function y=2.88 sin (2pi/365x)+12.33 thank you

Feb 10 is the 41st day of the year  [ assuming non-leap year ]

Mar 21 is the 80th day of the year

 

Assuming that x  is the  "  x th"   day of the year

 

We only need to evaluate this

 

2.88  [sin ( 2pi * 80 / 365)  - sin (  2pi * 41 / 365)    ≈ .96 hrs  ≈  .96 * 60  ≈ 57.6 min  

 

So.....Feb 10  has about 57.6 min less daylight than Mar 21
