I assume this is :

[8/11] *(10-n) = 64    if so......multiply both sides by 11

8 [10 - n ]   =  11*64

80 - 8n   =  704      rearranage as

8n = 80 - 704

8n = -624      divide both sides by  8

n = -78

Solve for n: (8 (10-n))/11 = 64 Multiply both sides of (8 (10-n))/11 = 64 by 11/8: ((11×8 (10-n))/(8))/(11) = 11/8×64 11/8×64 = (11×64)/8: (11×8 (10-n))/(8×11) = (11×64)/8 (11×8 (10-n))/(8×11) = (8×11)/(8×11)×(10-n) = 10-n: 10-n = (11×64)/8 64/8 = (8×8)/8 = 8: 10-n = 11×8 11×8 = 88: 10-n = 88 Subtract 10 from both sides: (10-10)-n = 88-10 10-10 = 0: -n = 88-10 88-10 = 78: -n = 78

Multiply both sides of -n = 78 by -1: -n/(-1) = -78 (-1)/(-1) = 1: Answer: | | n = -78
