The nearest HUNDREDTH is the second place to the right of the decimal...in this example rounding to the nearest hundredth would yield   0.01

The hundredth is the second 0 behind the decimal point, and because the next number is a 5, you round the hundredth up to 1 (If it's 5 or higher, you round up), therefore the answer is 0.01 :)
