indecision​ups charges 7 for the first pound and 0.20 for each adittional pound.fedx changes 5 for the first pound and 0.30 for the addittional. How many pounds, p, will take for ups and fedex to cost the same?

Since UPS charges $7.00 + .20x pounds, and

Fedex charges $5.00 + .30x pounds, then

7 +.20x=5 + .30x

2=.10x,and

x=2/.10=20 Pounds for UPS & Fedex to cost the same
