Studying for a test and can't seem to get this question right and want to know what I am doing wrong
Q: A farmer has 540m of fencing to enclose a rectangular area and divide it into two sections as shown (the shape is a rectangle with a line parrallel to the shorter side about 1/3 in)
Write an equation to express total area enclosed as a function of the width
Determine domain and range of this area function
Determine dimensions that give the maximum area
