The problem says that vector B has a magnitude of 35 m and points in a direction 55∘ below the positive x axis, so does this mean that when finding the x and y components of vector B, when I use Bx = B cos(ø) and By = B sin(ø) (Bx and By are the x and y components), should I input the magnitude of B as -35m, because it is going down on the x axis?

< x, y >   = < 35cos(-55), 35sin(-55) >  =  < 20.08 , -28.67 >

cool cool cool
