I was wondering if when you use the formula for a cylinder to find the volume of it, you use the formula V= Bh of course but you have to find the area of the the base circle first then you multiply right?

Volume of a Cylinder= Pi x r to the power of two x height

Lol I'm in grade 8 and I know that.
