if you had 1 cone and then another which is half the size with all figues half, eg cone A height = 8 and cone B height = 4 will the volume and surface area be the same just divided by 2 for cone B??
1- If the measurements double, the the area goes up as 2^2=4 times. Conversely, if measurements are halved then the area will decrease by 2^-2=1/4
2- If the measurements double, the volume goes up as 2^3=8 times. Conversely, if measurements are halved, then the volume will decrease by 2^-3=1/8
