A circular above ground pool has a height of 52 inches, and a volume of 1100 ft^3. What is the radius of the pool to the nearest tenth of a foot?

I will assume it is of cylinder shape

volume of cylinder =  pi r2 h

1100   =   pi  r^2  52/12                       (volume is given in ft3 so I converted 52 inches to feet)

1100 (12/52) / pi  = r^2         take the square root to find the radius in FEET
