You own a gas station. You are supervising the filling of the station’s cylindrical fuel tank. The fuel tank has a height of 36 feet and can hold 2,500 cubic yards of fuel.Based on these specifications, what is the radius of the fuel tank, rounded to the nearest hundredth of a yard?

Volume of cylinder = pi r^2 h         make sure units are in the same dimension  ....covert yards to feet

2500 yd3 *  27 ft3/yd= 3.14 * 36 * r^2

r = 24.44 ft     = 8.15 yd
