A graduated cylinder has a radius of 3.5 cm. An object is dropped into a graduated cylinder with water, and the water rises 0.25 cm.

What is the volume of the water displaced by the object?

What is the volume of the object?

Volume of cylinder=Pi.r^2.h

Volume of water displaced=volume of the object

V=3.141592 X 3.5^2 X .25

V=9.6211255 cm^3-volume of displaced water, which equals volume of object.
