graph and describe the appearance of the linear equation y=-2x-4
hi Jace,
y=-2x-4
y=-2*x-4
if x=0 then y=-2*0-4=0-4=-4
if x=1 then y=-2*1-4 = -2-4=-8
etc
Can you see how I am doing the substitution ?
what does x mean in this case?
its the vaiable, TR.. you know the linear equation is y = mx+b..
m = the slope
x = variable
b = the y-intercept
i know. i meant if x equaled 1, 2 , 3 , 4, 5 (you get the point now)
ohhhhhh..
ahhhhhhhh, you get it now?
