I want to know the equation for solving a very complicated problem. I want to know what the factors of 240 are.
Thanks Hectictar :)
You can do it by looking at a factor tree
240
=2*120
=2*2*60
=2*2*2*30
=2*2*2*2*15
=2*2*2*2*3*5
So 2,3 and 5 are the prime factors of 240.
I CAN DO THIS BIT ON THE WEB2.0 CALC
factor(240) = (2^4*3)*5
Now i am going to find all of them
240=2*120
240=3*80
240=4*60
240=5*48
240=6*40
240=8*30
240=10*24
240=12*20
240=15*16
There is not going to be any more factors becaseu there are no whole numbers between 15 and 16.
I have only just realised that this is identical to what Hectictar did. Sorry Hectictar ://
