If 4 times a number, x, is decreased by 5, the result is less than 7 more than 3 times the same number. What are the possible values of the number?
I wrote 4xn-5=-7>3xn but after that I'm stuck on it. It also requires to answer as an interval
4x - 5 < 3x +7
x < 12

4x-5=7 < x < 3x
