x = r cosθ   =  3√2 cos ( -pi/6)  =  3√2 ( √3/2)  = 3√6/2 ≈ 3.67

y = r sin θ  =  3√2 sin (-pi/6)  = 3√2  (-1/2)  = -3/√2  ≈  -2.12
