what causes 14/-6+6/6 to be -41/6? what is the work behind the answer?

Hmm, when I did the problem I got -4/3 as an answer.

${\mathtt{\,-\,}}{\frac{{\mathtt{8}}}{{\mathtt{6}}}}$

${\mathtt{\,-\,}}{\frac{{\mathtt{4}}}{{\mathtt{3}}}}$

Any other mathematicians want to double check this so we get the right answer?
