We think India is a fantastic place, and the people who live there are fabulous. (All except the few who keep phoning me and claiming my computer has a virus!)
People will always have different opinions, but most here are polite. Most everyone here likes you --even the troll likes you.

If they speak good English, they probably are from India. If we can’t understand them they are probably from Pakistan or Bangladesh.??
Rosala, it sounds like you are trying to get someone to say something bad about your country. Why?
Every country has good and bad thing about it. Human nature is such that it tends to exaggerate the bad. Most countries have much more good than bad else they won’t be around for long.
Your country has been around for a long time. That means way more good than bad. Right?

You have told us of its great depth of history and the wonderful architecture that it boasts.
You have spoken and shown us pictures of its wonderful natural heritage.
Most of all you have spoken of the rich culture of which you are a part.
The constant festivals and street life that colours your world.
Many of us are not a part of a World that is like that. I barely know my neighbours. We have no street activity.
I can go out of my way and go into Sydney central district to see some wonderful special events but it does not flow into my quiet well-ordered little suburb.
Sometimes I have envied you the culture of which you are a part.
Your country is going ahead in leaps and bounds. You as an Indian citizen have good reason to be proud of the financial and technological advances that have been made. Not to mention your country's sporting acheivements. :)
I think of Indians as Intelligent, industrious people. Those that I have met have always been polite and friendly.
Yes India has its problems. All countries do. Yes some reforms are worth fighting for. Not just in India but everywhere.
I see India as a proud, developing country full of history and culture.

1.it is a really unsafe country(i agree but if you are with some one good and have your own mind, i think you can just punch anyone who come in the way)
2. Its a very poor country.(no, it is now...you need to know the history if you think it is, india was called The Golden Eagle until Britishers came.,,,.......if you wanna know more.....i dont mind at all telling anyone)
3.Uncivilized ( the main thing, now first of all...what is it the you call civilized......dressing like " Men In Black" or what? , becoz the world is getting so called " modern " day by day......people think dressing shows who is this person....answer is no....you just dotn get modern wearing tiny pieces of clothes or using machines or eatign something special or whatever......you get modern with your thinking.And who the heck thinks this country is unciviliized...dont you have beggars in Australia , Arab, America , UK, etc. Arent there any ciminals in these countries.In Spain dont you see people wearing the long dresses.....or is just that you wanna see the whole world wearing American clothing. I tell you if this happens, no cultures would exist.And every country has their own clothes, festivals, cultures, then why do people think that way for India.So....before thinking anything like that...just read what i wrote)
4..........if you are not trying to not make me feel offended then you can think the 4 , the 5 and the "many mores" .....im not saying India only has negativities...it is my country...who'll know more than me about it..but i also dont wnat to see people in misunderstandings!if someone thinks its a poor country then google the history.....no one knows how rich the country was.
