1+2=2 2+3=12 3+4=36 4+5= 80 5 +6=??
If you were to define a + b to be (a·b)·a, [with · meaning the usual multiplication]
then:
1 + 2 = (1·2)·1 = 2
2 + 3 = (2·3)·2 = 12
3 + 4 = (3·4)·3 = 36
4 + 5 = (4·5)·4 = 80
5 + 6 = (5·6)·5 = 150
1 + 2 = 1^2 x 2
2 + 3 = 2^2 x 3
3 + 4 = 3^2 x 4
......
5 + 6 = 5^2 x 6 = 25 x 6 = 150
