Simplify the following:
(10+3/4) (2+2/3)

Put 2+2/3 over the common denominator 3. 2+2/3  =  (3×2)/3+2/3:
(10+3/4) (3×2)/3+2/3

3×2  =  6:
(10+3/4) (6/3+2/3)

6/3+2/3  =  (6+2)/3:
(10+3/4) (6+2)/3

6+2 = 8:
(10+3/4)×8/3

Put 10+3/4 over the common denominator 4. 10+3/4  =  (4×10)/4+3/4:
((4×10)/4+3/4 8)/(3)

4×10  =  40:
((40/4+3/4)×8)/(3)

40/4+3/4  =  (40+3)/4:
((40+3)/4×8)/(3)

40+3 = 43:
43/4×8/3

43/4×8/3 = (43×8)/(4×3):
(43×8)/(4×3)

8/4 = (4×2)/4 = 2:
(43×2)/3

43×2  =  86:
Answer: | 86/3=28 2/3
