Happy7 has indicated that this equation has no solution....let's see why......

11x+2/3(9x-12)=19x-2(x-4)   simplify

11x + 6x - 9 = 19x - 2x + 8

17x - 9  = 17x + 8

Note that, subtracting 9 from 17x can't be equal to adding 8 to it...!!!

Thus...it apppears the happy7 is correct!!!!

$${\mathtt{11}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{\mathtt{x}}{\mathtt{\,\small\textbf+\,}}{\frac{{\mathtt{2}}}{{\mathtt{3}}}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}\left({\mathtt{9}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{\mathtt{x}}{\mathtt{\,-\,}}{\mathtt{12}}\right) = {\mathtt{19}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}{\mathtt{x}}{\mathtt{\,-\,}}{\mathtt{2}}{\mathtt{\,\times\,}}\left({\mathtt{x}}{\mathtt{\,-\,}}{\mathtt{4}}\right) \Rightarrow \left\{ \begin{array}{l}\end{array} \right\}$$
