Sorry it's become a habit, I've always been simplifying later. :)

 

I can't use latex since I'm on the kindle. It's hard to type...

 

48/1 * 5/12.        /12

4/1 * 5/1.    

Done.

 

4*5=20

1*1=1

 

20/1.  = 20.

48= 48/1

 

481×51248×51×12=24012Simplify(÷bothby12)=201=20
