Slope-intercept form is the equation solved for y:

     5x + 10y  =  60

Subtracting 5x from both sides:

            10y  =  -5x + 60

Dividing by 10:

                y  =  (-1/2)x + 6

The slope is the coefficient of x:  slope = -1/2.

The y-intercept is the number added to the x-term:  y-intercept = 6
