=27$$
Of course you could have just done it on the calc in the first place but you should know how indices work. :)

I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that there must be a whole generation of junior HS mathematics teachers in the US who have taken it upon themselves to simplify mathematics where they think it is unnecessarily fastidious, and their first target has been the / division operator.
