what is 9 1/6 as a whole number

9 1/6 isn't a whole number...we can write it as an improper fraction or as a decimal.

For the improper fraction, multiply the 6 in the denominator times the whole number 9 = 54 and add the 1 in the numerator = 55....put this result over the denominator and we get 55/6

 And 1/6 = .1666

So....... 9 + .1666  =   9.1666    ...the "6" repeats...!!!

please answer asap i really need to figure this out.. im really bad with fractions
