Hi Blaze,

An irrational number is a number that cannot be expressed as an integer / an integer.

Numbers that cannot be expressed as one integer over another can also not be expressed as terminating or recurring fractions.     wink

----------------------------------------

A rational number is one that can be written as        \(\frac{p}{q}\)

where p and q are intergers and q is not equal to 0.

An irrational number is any real number that is not rational.  :)
